Simon F. Haeder is an Associate Professor of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy & Management in the School of Public Health at Texas A&M  University.

Simon recently graduate from the Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Program, a national leadership development program supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to equip teams of researchers and community partners in applying research to solve real community problems. He was also part of the inaugural cohort of the American Enterprise Institute's Emerging Poverty Scholars program.
